2011 was a record year for the annual Harpoon Helps Spread Holiday Cheer! It was wonderful to have such an enthusiastic group of volunteers! By the end of the week more than 200 Harpoon Helpers had decorated 15 locations in Portland, ME, Lebanon, NH, Claremont, NH, Manchester, NH, Albany, NY, Waterford, NY, Springfield, MA, Worcester, MA, Hartford, CT, Philadelphia, PA, Washington, DC, and Austin, TX. Add these locations to the ones we decorated in the Boston area and in Rhode Island, and we Spread Holiday Cheer to 42 locations – a new Harpoon Helps record! Through the Harpoon Helps Spread Holiday Cheer Gift Drive, gift cards were donated to the families supported by theshelters, community centers, and food kitchens that we visited and decorated! Thanks to everyone who volunteered and who contributed to the Harpoon Helps Spread Holiday Cheer Gift Drive. | ||
