On Saturday, August 12, 2006, Harpoon hosted the 5th Annual Harpoon Point to Point to benefit the Vermont Foodbank. With the help of our many sponsors, the riders, and family and friends who enjoyed the post-ride party and the concert by Toby Lightman and this year's headliner, Carbon Leaf, the Vermont Foodbank has has raised a record amount of money from this one-day Harpoon Helps mission. Harpoon would like to thank all of the Friends of Harpoon who rode or the Harpoon Helpers volunteered as course marshals.
Of course, we are already looking forward to next year's Point to Point, so you better hop on your bike and start training! Just because the Harpoon Point to Point has passed, it doesn't mean that the work is done. We still need your help to fight hunger in Vermont. You can help!
