It was a hot July night but 12 Harpoon Helpers bagged up potatoes to be distributed by Foodshare's mobile food panty in Bloomfield, CT. Foodshare is an independent, non-profit, which employs a small, but dedicated staff and involves more than 2,000 volunteers in the work to end hunger Foodshare is affiliated with a national network of food banks called America's Second Harvest America's Second Harvest and is also affiliated with many local organizations such as the United Way, End Hunger Connecticut!, and Hartford Food System.
